The PF Headquarters Marketing team is searching for a Manager, Digital & Social Marketing . About the Role: As our Manager, Digital & Social Marketing you will manage and oversee Planet Fitness’ national social media channels including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc. You will utilize your strong knowledge of branding strategies to understand and adapt our brand voice across all social media platforms, driving a consistent member experience, while enhancing value to our members. You will use your analytical mindset to elevate brand awareness by improving acquisition tactics throughout the online fitness journey. To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for driving a successful social strategy, both locally and nationally. You will be a forward thinker with the ability to manage and improve brand content across digital and social media platforms. As our Manager, Digital & Social Marketing, you will partner with multiple teams within the organization to create, deliver, and uphold Planet Fitness digital and social media marketing success. In this role you will: Manage and oversee our Digital & Social Marketing program, delivering outstanding results, without compromising Planet Fitness brand standards. Drive and maintain a social strategy, across all social platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc., that supports the Planet Fitness brand and is effectively tailored both nationally and locally, with an emphasis on local needs. Manage all local social tasks including, but not limited to, social platform access and management, reporting, onboarding and continuously training new agencies on social strategies, ensuring its thoughtful documentation. Maintain and elevate brand awareness by improving acquisition tactics throughout the online fitness journey. Continue to maintain our social platform Planet of Triumphs – our online space where Planet Fitness club members can celebrate and share their triumphs and view other PF member’s triumphs in a judgement free zone. Partner with our reputation management team to manage reporting, crisis management, rogue/bully accounts, etc. Create and distribute all national and local social content, ensuring a focus on positive, health and wellness experiences that continually resonate with club members. Work in partnership with national and local ad funding to improve and synchronize social media insights. Manage and improve current brand content while continuously evaluating additional social platforms. Provide digital marketing solutions by establishing metrics amongst members and our social, reputation, and community efforts. Manage our national influencer program and its strategies, including reviewing of all influencers and their content, while empowering local influencer program strategies unique to each community. Complete submission of social awards for recognized impactful social content. Team up with our Digital, Marketing, and Social Media Planning teams to ensure support, collaboration, and integration with Planet Fitness’ national and local teams. Be a dedicated learner that adapts to create successful engagements for Planet Fitness, through continuous education, utilizing playbooks, webinars, workshops and more. Continuously support inter-department education (i.e., Franchise Marketing and Franchise Operations Support). About You: Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, or a related field 5-7 years of related experience in the digital/social media marketing space Demonstrated leadership, indicating earned respect and trust in your relationships among all levels of a business, both internally and externally Strong knowledge in the professional, business use of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) Experience understanding and executing customer and business needs with brand awareness strategies Excellent communication and presentation skills Accomplished at managing internal and external relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and heading agency collaborations Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth Exhibit comfort, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment Cooperative team player with an upbeat, positive, “can-do” attitude!
